There is mounting evidence that understanding the consequences of global change for ecosystem functioning requires consideration of belowground communities and their interactions with plants. This talk will illustrate how consideration of soil biodiversity and its interactions with plants can improve understanding of the impact of global change on terrestrial ecosystems.
