Data Access Made Easy interoperable

The application currently developed by the Recipient Organization includes a component which is critical to achieving interoperability at data level between the Global Cryosphere Watch (GCW) Data Portal and the CryoNet stations approved by Resolution 29 (EC-70). This application is necessary for more than a half of CryoNet stations and it will be open source. This application is developed on the Recipient Organization's existing software and in collaboration with the WMO/GCW PO. The funding provided to the Recipient Organization will facilitate expediting the completion of the common development and the implementation of specific CryoNet functions. The Recipient Organization is the only institution which could provide this service, as the backbone of DAMEi is provided by existing SLF applications and used by SLF to manage its own research stations. The funding provided by WMO will cover only a portion of the development.
