We’re excited to announce the first joint WSL–Eawag Biodiversity Research Day, which will take place in Birmensdorf on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

This event will mark the official launch of the WSL–Eawag Biodiversity Center. It’s a great opportunity to discover the breadth of biodiversity research across both institutes and to connect with colleagues working on related topics.

The one-day event (9:15 - 16:30) will feature a series of speed talks (3 min) and regular talks (10 min), followed by an apéro to continue discussions in a relaxed setting.

We warmly invite all WSL and Eawag members—from PhD students to group leaders—to present their work or simply join us for the day. We aim for a diverse program representing a wide range of research areas and career stages.
