Development of AI tools for automatic identification of mass movements in SAR interferograms

There is a strong interest for further development and scaling of the EAGLE methodologies. Future work aims to expand the application of the tools to larger regions, potentially covering the entire Switzerland, and to integrate additional satellite SAR datasets for improved spatial and temporal resolution. The advancement of this research can benefit significantly from long-term collaboration between the SLF and the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU), particularly within the framework of the WARMA program (Warnung vor Massenbewegungen).
