NCCR CLIM+
2026 - 2030
FinancingNCCR CLIM+ is a long term research project by National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCRs) and the Center for Climate Extremes and Resilience in Swiss Society (CERESS), investigating how Switzerland will be affected by physical climate risks and how adaptation solutions could include societal trade-offs through inter- and transdisciplinary research between social and natural sciences. This will lead Switzerland to a more resilient and safer future. Our contribution to this research includes developing a high-resolution process-based hydrological model for Switzerland, data-driven and hybrid streamflow modeling, and assessing the impacts of climate extremes on floods, droughts, their transitions, and water quality extremes.
