If you intend to take pictures over the entire length of an oblique section, you has to move the section below the objective along the x- AND the y-axis (sideways and up/down) [red arrows, A].
The ring adapter is fixed on the microscope instead of the original slide holder.
The glass slide placed in the ring can be rotated 360◦ [B] to align the section of interest along one axis below the objective without requiring further correction while shooting the single images [red arrow, C].

Before printing the model [D] of the ring, the distances of the fixing screws (white arrow in [E] and their distance to the light source of the respective microscope need to be adjusted.
Our base model is optimized for Olympus BX microscopes (BX41, BX51).
