At the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF we research the optimal interaction between snow and sports equipment.

The interface between athlete, sports equipment and snow surface is the focus of our snow sports research. We develop basic principles for piste preparation, participate in product development, and are partners of industry and sports associations.
