Research interests
My research interests mainly concentrate on high-elevation ecosystems, global change ecology, and aboveground-belowground interactions of the plant-soil system in a rapidly changing world. My current research projects focus on ecophysiological responses, acclimation, and adaptation of plants/trees and their ecosystems to environmental change such as increasing air temperature, more severe and more frequent drought events, greater nitrogen deposition, and their interactions.
