With the help of timber harvesting productivity models (HeProMo), productivity and costs for various timber harvesting processes can be pre-calculated on the basis of some important input variables. However, the work processes and the machines used are constantly developing, which has a direct impact on productivity and costs. For this reason, new models are being developed and implemented in HeProMo as part of the project, such as for the processes harvester and forwarder with thethered winch as well as using a mobile processor for processing. Analog to HeProMo, a program for young forest maintenance work (JuWaPfl)  has recently been developed, which can also be used to estimate the performance and costs of work in the 1st production stage. The data basis of the models will also be further developed within the framework of this project.
