I am passionate about evolutionary biology and how organisms interact with their environment. I have a keen interest in studying local adaptation of populations in forest ecosystems. Using omics tools and high-resolution environmental descriptors, I dedicate my research activities to improve our understanding of (co-)adaptation processes in plant-fungi symbiotic partners. Combining field- and lab-experiments, my long-term objective is to gather scientific knowledge to establish the best recommendations possible for implementing measures to counter the rapid loss of biodiversity.
