Research interests

My research interests focus on biodiversity and conservation biology across multiple taxonomic groups, with a strong emphasis on fungi. I am particularly interested in the integration of applied conservation with scientific research, linking biodiversity monitoring and conservation planning with traditional and cutting-edge molecular and ecological methods. My aim is to translate robust scientific evidence into effective conservation measures at local to national scales and beyond. I am motivated by interdisciplinary collaboration and the strategic development of research that supports long-term biodiversity conservation.
