Towards Realtime Monitoring of Natural Hazards at Unprecedented Temporal and Spatial Resolution

Using innovative LiDAR and seismic sensors as well as novel approaches in robotics and artificial intelligence, we will design and implement multimodal monitoring of dangerous Alpine mass movements. 

The project thus combines engineering and scientific expertise from researchers at ETH Zürich, the University of Applied Sciences Chur and WSL to provide unprecedented warning services for natural hazards.
