Towards a forested Greenland? (ForGreenland)
Projektdauer
2025 - 2027
FinanzierungThe ForGreenland project studies tree growth and adaptability across three Greenland sites, from 61-67°N. It aims to assess tree survival, diversity, and performance under varying climatic conditions, using advanced monitoring tools like dendrometers and tree cores.
The project will contribute to afforestation strategies and inform future Arctic biodiversity and carbon sequestration efforts. Additionally, it will generate open-access data to support research on climate change resilience in Arctic ecosystems.
