Programmevaluation NCCS-Impacts

The National Centre for Climate Services (NCCS) program "Decision Support for Dealing with Climate Change in Switzerland: a cross-sectoral approach" ("NCCS-Impacts"), aimed to develop actionable, user-oriented climate services as decision support for planning in the field of climate change mitigation and adaptation. Since the program was the first of this kind within the federal system, it offers great learning potentials related to program structure, processes, and culture of cooperation across all six projects and NCCS hierarchical levels. These learnings include best practices as well as strategies to cope with challenges and opportunities that are an integral part of large inter- and transdisciplinary cross-sectoral endeavors. To capture them at a sufficient level of detail and to trigger critical self-reflection and learning on the part of the respondents, this project aims to assess these learnings between March and August 2026.
