Rockfall Experiments in Forests

I am interested in the protective effect of forests against rock- and blockfalls. In order to quantify this effect on a large scale, we depend on rockfall models, which have to be calibrated. This requires real-scale experiments, such as those in the video, carried out in Schiers (Switzerland, canton of Grisons) with block masses up to 840 kg and different block shapes.
