Pericoli naturali
Contenuto principale
I rischi connessi a pericoli naturali quali valanghe, frane, caduta di massi, colate detritiche, inondazioni e incendi forestali possono provocare grandi danni in Svizzera.
Avvertire in tempo e fornire informazioni esaustive

The presented methodologies pave the way to a comprehensive understanding of rock-ground and rock-net interaction, a key requirement to improve the design of flexible barriers that account for the role of rock shape, spin and eccentric impacts in rockfall protection.

This thesis is an outcome of a joint research project between Geobrugg AG and the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL), in order to investigate the use of flexible ring net barriers to retard or stop debris flows.
